Have you upgraded your smoke alarms to meet the new legislation in Queensland?
The QLD legislation specifies that all Queensland dwellings will be required to have interconnected, photoelectric smoke alarms in all bedrooms, and hallways that connect bedrooms with the rest of the dwelling and on every level. AUSTRALIAN STANDARD AS3786:2014 SMOKE ALARMS
This standard specifies requirements, test methods and functional criteria for smoke alarms that operate using scattered light, transmitted light or ionization, intended for household or similar residential applications.
